Painting No. 21 Little Rock Lake, View from Lookout Trail
Today I’m quite sore. Even with my metal brace, the trail was tough. It was short, only 2 kilometers, so I could stop often and relax. I really like painting these views from high above the lakes and forests. Over the years, I have managed to capture quite a number of these sites.
Earlier in the day, we canoed the lake and found ancient “vision pits”, in which my ancestors used to gain visions and wisdom. It was a very solemn moment.
Tomorrow we break camp and move west for the final week.
